Sequestration, the simple truth

There are a lot of fear tactics being used to emphasize how horrible the cuts must be in order  to comply with sequestration, but here the simple truth.

Can all agree that we've had in excess of $1 trillion added to the deficit each year for the past 4 years? The sequestration is making it neccessary to cut $44 billion in domestic spending. The $44 billion is being cut from the overspending amount of $1 trillion. You have to ask WHY do we have to lay off all these public employees, and close the White House, and not feed children, and all the other scare tactics being used in order to reduce our deficit spending to $956 billion this year?

These cuts are NOT cuts to what we have budgeted for (or at least the last budget that the dems approved 4 years ago) only to reduce the amount that we are overspending by $44 billion.

Only in government can a reduction in overspending be called a cut. The only true cut is to the military.
