Haven't done one of these in a while.

When I was a kid, we used to mock opposing baseball players by saying that they had a swing like a rusticate.
FLOCCINAUCINIHILIPILIFICATION estimating things as worthless and belittling other's achievements

Pat's bad habit was "floccinaucinihilipilification" which is why he consumed such vast quantities of popcorn in order to soothe his cerebellum.
Zabernism (N)

The abuse of military power or authority.

Zabernism is at the root of all political instability.

IMO, Dick Cheney was a Zabernut.

SYZYGY- a nearly straight line of celestial bodies like our earth, moon, and sun

SESQUIPEDALIAN-(one of my favorites)  is the use of long words . I often use them to impress people but have no clue of what I'm saying or writing or if it makes any sense.LOL. It works well in my E-mails I send which can often be verbose, pleonastic, and circumlocutory, as well as run on sentences which can be frustrating and quite soporiferous to say the least which isn't saying very much if you are in the midst of one of my literary quagmires.

QUETZAL-a Central American bird with brilliant plumage ...This is a great word to use in Scrabble, especially if you can cheat and pick the letters to start the game. You get the Q and the Z and use all 7 letters and get bonuses for double letter scores and basically can win the game on your first move .
