WIN 8 vs ?????
Hubby is ready to order a new DELL and wants to avoid WIN 8. Whatever should he do????? Assuming that at age 84 this will be his last one......... Mercy!!!

if he's ORDERING a dell, then just get the price quoted with windows 7...

Yep, when I was considering a new comp., my tech guy told me to not worry, he could either get me a new one with Win7 or change a new Win8 to 7 with no problem.

you just have to be sure that you get the restorediscs or create the restore discs for the computer with windows 7. some places that sell computers now charge you to create the dvd or cd discs to restore the computer.
