Yes :-). I have been watching some of it between the NFL Playoff game. My Texans lost. Oh well maybe next year.

Oh yeah, welcome to the group. Unofficially. :-)

You can go to groups like TV Links and watch every episode of any Star Trek franchise for free.  It will take you many weeks to do that but you will never have to say, "Well, I missed a few".  Now, I know that I have seen them all.  And the real bonus is......no commercials.

Really? I did not know about that! Thanks :)

I think the producers did that movie after Spock "died" & Bones carried  Spock's 'soul' inside to save Spock when they could get to Vulcan.  The movie after that is the one u saw where even Kirk  was promoted & a lot of the crew too so they had to wear the 'new' uniforms to represent their new rank.  I recelect them trying to help Spock remember who & what he was to the crew.  Thus it was a bit difficult to follow until I saw it a couple of times :)

Think luvy1950 is talking about "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" (1979). I did not care much for that movie. It was mostly 'eye candy'. It's shame too, that movie was directed by Robert Wise, who directed one of the greatest  sci fi classic movies, "The Day The Earth Stood Still" (1951). Bob Wise did not have much of a story to work with on that 1st Trek movie. I don't even think J. J. Abrams could revision the 1st Trek movie.

Didn't like "Star Trek VI: The Final Frontier" that much either, but I tolerated it more than "Star Trek: The Motion Picture". I have neither movie in my collection. :-)

What is the name of the 1 I was chatting about?

The movies you were referring to are: "Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan" and "Star Trek III: The Search For Spock". "Star Trek II" made up for the mess of the first movie. It help to save the Star  Trek franchise. LoL :-)

Correction: That was "Star Trek V: The Final Frontier"

Wait a minute??  Now u've got me confused!!
