I thought that during this time of year....everyone is busy with raking leaves, then its Thanksgiving..getting ready for that, and next the rush of Christmas, that it would be a good time to post these "Recipes of Life." Do you have any that you would like to post?

MY SPECIAL RECIPES



RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
2 cups of ambition
1 cup of opportunity
3 heaping tbls.. of faith
1/2 cup of talent
Stir in a pinch of luck.



Recipe for Friendship
1/4 cup of kindness
2/3 cup of compassion
1 tsp. of speaking your mind
2 tbs. of listening
3 cups of laughter
Boil in challenges. Simmer with patience. Stir in sensitivity. Spread over a lifetime. Serve each other.



Recipe For Living
Take a generous amount of self respect, spice it with humor, stir in equal parts of compassion and love.
Measure in a few drops of frankness (but not enough to be bitter). Blend well. Knead gently and form into a
firm loaf. Bake in moderate oven.
Baste occasionally with sincerity
and serve daily. Your family will
love it, your friends will envy your skill, and strangers will long
rememberyou favorably.



Recipe For A Good December
1 tsp. Snow
1½ tsp. Sunlight
1 Tbsp. Christmas Spirit
2 tsp. Joy and Happiness
4½ tsp. Peace and Gentleness
1/4 cup Cheerfulness
1/3 cup Fun in the Snow
1 cup Good Festive Time
2½ cups Laughter
1/3 cup Family Time

Mix Christmas Spirit, Joy and Happiness, Peace and Gentleness, Cheerfulness and Laughter together. Gradually stir in Snow, Sunlight and Family Time. Sprinkle with prayers and bake. Serve with love as you enjoy festive holiday season gatherings!



RECIPE FOR HAPPY MEMORIES
Start with two special friends - Mix in lots of fun and a dash of mischief! Season with plenty of affection.
Note: This recipe travels well over long distances.





New Year's Recipe
2 cups Love for God
1 cup Faith
4 tbsp. Optimism
6 tbsp. Compassion
3 tbsp. Humility
2 tbsp. Humor
1/4 cup Charity
1 cup Trust
1/3 cup Patience

Makes enough for 7 days.
Mix above with heaping spoonfuls of love and laughter. Make a new batch weekly and serve daily to all.



"Birthday Recipe"
To make your Birthday brighter,
Throw in a touch of Love,
Next, add to it thoughtfulness,
The dreams, you're dreaming of.

Some patience and understanding,
Good times and laughter too,
Mix in your pride and caring,
And sharing things you do.

If you blend these all together,
And daily give a good stir too,
Then your Birthday brings
Many blessings and
Peace the following year through.



RECIPE FOR CHRISTMAS JOY
1/2 cup of Hugs 4 teaspoons Kisses 3/4 cup of Smiles 4 cups of Love 1 cup of Special Holiday Cheer 1/2 cup of Peace on Earth 3 teaspoons of Christmas Spirits 2 cups of Goodwill Towards Men 1 Sprig of Mistletoe 1 medium size bag of Christmas Snowflakes Mix Hugs, Kisses, Smiles, and Love until consistent. Blend in Holiday Cheer, Peace on Earth, Christmas Spirit and Goodwill Toward Men. Use the mixture to fill a large, warm heart where it can be stored for a lifetime, for it never goes bad! Serve as desired under Mistletoe, sprinkle liberally with Christmas Snowflakes It is especially good when accompanied by Christmas carols and family get-togethers. Serve to one and all!



HAPPY DAY RECIPE
Begin with a smile
Mix in some laughter
Add a dash of wisdom
Stir in plenty of hugs
Blend with inspiration
Combine with joy and
Top off the day with
A generous sprinkling
Of love!
