They trade in their guns and badges for backpacks and use their youthful appearances to go undercover. Trouble is, teenagers today are nothing like what they were just a few years ago, and Schmidt and Jenko discover that everything they think they know about being a teenager, from sex to drugs to rock and roll, is all wrong. More importantly, they both find they are still dealing with all of the adolescent problems they didn't address in their own teen years - and both will have to confront the terror and anxiety of being a teenager again and all the issues they thought they had left behind. The Kid with a Bike
Winner of the Grand Jury Prize at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, this deeply moving new film by the Dardenne Brothers delves into the emotional life of troubled 11-year-old Cyril (newcomer Thomas Doret). When his father (Jérémie Renier) abandons him, Cyril obsessively tries to find his bicycle—after all, his father must have cared about him enough not to sell that off, he reasons. Almost by accident, he becomes the ward of a kind hairdresser (Cécile de France), a woman who seems surprised to find herself so determined to help him. With his wild, unpredictable behavior and his disastrous search for father figures, Cyril risks losing her—though she refuses to give up without a fight. Full of heartbreaking betrayals and unexpected grace, The Kid with a Bike is a film about a child, abandoned to the elements, learning to become good. The film has also been featured at the Telluride, Toronto and New York film festivals, and it will screen at the AFI Fest in Los Angeles in November. The Kid with a Bike opens on March 16 in New York and Los Angeles with a nationwide release to follow.

Delicacy

To cope with her loss, she buries herself and her emotions in her work to the dismay of her friends, family and co-workers. One day, inexplicably, her zest for life and love is rekindled by a most unlikely source, her seemingly unexceptional, gauche, and average looking office subordinate, Markus (French comic star Francois Damiens, Heartbreaker). At first stunned by Nathalie's unexpected attention, Markus comes to gradually believe in her feelings and shifts into romantic high gear. As their relationship goes from awkward to genuinely loving, Nathalie and Markus will have to overcome a host of obstacles including everyone else's judgmental perceptions as well as their own self-doubts.

People V. the State of Illusion
Exalt Films, and Movies From The Heart, are proud to present People v. The State of Illusion. This feature length film, directed by award winning Director Scott Cervine, is set in the notorious “Old Main Prison” of the New Mexico State Penitentiary, and tells the story of Aaron Roberts, a single father who is arrested and tried on charges following an incident that claims the life of a woman. Aaron is convicted at trial and sent to the state penitentiary, and his daughter becomes a ward of the State. While there, an attorney learns of her plight and the story of her father, and decides to represent her in an innovative and emotionally-compelling case against the State. Written and produced by Austin Vickers, this movie explores the science and power of perception and imagination and the prison walls of habitual thought and behavior that we all create, and documents the evidence that answers the central questions of this provocative film, “what is real?” and “can we really change?” It is an inspiring and emotionally compelling movie that will wake you up to the power of your imagination, encourage your hope, and elevate your spirit.

Pray for Japan
On March 11, 2011, Japan's Tohoku coastal region was destroyed by a 9.0 magnitude earthquake and devastating tsunami that followed. PRAY FOR JAPAN takes place in the devastated region of Ishinomaki, Miyagi - the largest coastal city in Tohoku with a population of over 160,000 people. Filmmaker Stu Levy - an American living in Japan - filmed the tsunami aftermath during his trips to Tohoku as a volunteer and over a period of 6 weeks, captured over 50 hours of footage. PRAY FOR JAPAN focuses on four key perspectives of the tragedy - School, Shelter, Family, and Volunteers. With each perspective we meet victims who faced significant obstacles and fought to overcome them. Through these four vantage points, the audience is able to understand the vast ramifications of this large-scale natural disaster - and the battle these real-life heroes fought on behalf of their loved ones and their hometown.

Reuniting the Rubins
An uptight lawyer, Lenny Rubins, (Timothy Spall - The King's Speech), has to put his dream retirement on hold when his ailing mother (Honor Blackman - Goldfinger) emotionally blackmails him into reuniting his estranged children for a holiday gathering. They may be peas from the same pod, but in Lenny's eyes, his grown-up children are certainly not even from the same planet: a ruthless control-freak and hard-nosed capitalist (James Callis - Battlestar Galactica), an outspoken, argumentative eco-warrior committed to the cause (Rhona Mitra - Underworld: Rise of the Lycans), an outer-worldly Buddhist Monk; and to cap it all, a bible bashing born-again Rabbi! While they might quarrel, fight, and perhaps even be starting a war in Africa, they are still family. It is going to take a whole lot of soul-searching and sacrifice for everyone to come together in this heart-warming and comic family reunion that will have you thinking fondly of your own.

Earende,

After reading your comment on "The Kid With A Bike," it sounds like "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" only more serious.  LOL
