Wow I haven't heard that Lord of Acid song in ages… I like Zack Snyder’s style so I’m probably gonna see this even though I have no idea what that trailer was actually about...
It looks cool! Girl power! But I’m so confused!
WTF is this??????

The CGI looks cool. Is it in 3D? I don't know what to make of it.

You're weird Zen...
LOL!!!

I think I understood it, and I hope it isn't in 3D. I'm kind of sick of that trend.
Hot girls kicking ass...count me in.

Zack Snyder’s the man, I’ll probably skip that owl movie he made but I’m all in for this one. On a side note, Emily Browning should be cast as Lisbeth.
The movie looks simply fantastic… only 3D could ruin it now. To the naysayers – you’re supposed to be impressed by the stylistic visuals (similar to 300) as opposed to trying to understand the concept of the movie in 90 seconds.
Horace, if you didn’t like 300 you probably won’t like this either. But if you did--smoke a joint and go check it out!

Zen was probably smoking one when he posted this--I mean, check out his explanation!!! ROFL!
Ahh....that explains it ...

I had to go to Wikipedia to see the synopsis that Zack Snyder released, and the trailer makes more sense to me now.
Granted, Sucker Punch doesn’t have source material like Watchmen did with its graphic novel, but considering how out there the movie Watchmen is without having read the source material, I’m not surprised Sucker Punch’s trailer is a bit convoluted when it comes to giving a clear summarization of the plot.

I’m not gonna decide now whether or not it’s good, considering there’s maybe 6 promo pictures, 1 trailer and a few stills out, hardly enough to judge the quality of the movie. I’m torn on Zack Snyder’s movies, so we’ll see.
This should at least be a visual feast (and I'm not talking about the girls); Snyder's films always are. Unfortunately his films also are generally lacking in at least one of the areas of story, writing, and acting.

Pretty important areas in filmmaking.
I have two examples which disprove your assessment of Snyder's film as lacking in acting talent. Jackie Earle Hayley's character of Rorshache in Watchmen and Gerard Butler's turn as King Leonidas in 300. These performances were brimming with emotion, gritty machismo and, perhaps most importantly, the made their presences known in every scene they were in and if the audience left the movie remembering one character, it was theirs.

Zach Snyder brings actual graphic novels, and original ideas which belong in graphic novels to life. He's filling a very important niche in my mind. So, maybe it's not Shakespeare, at least he provides the audience with arresting visuals and memorable characters.
Ha!

Zing!
