Ok, I'll start this months thread.  The weather this month has started where August left off.  A toasty 100F today.  I am liking it!  It's my hope everyone who stops in during this month is enjoying life.

Yes, yay for new monitors.  I too discovered I needed to use a HDMI cable instead of the old faithful one.  Now that I have 2 24" flat screen monitors (1 for each eye) I think I will be able to see clearly for a while.  LOL

that's LOTS better than a laptop screen!  this one is just 20" but it's huge compared to the laptop....

Good morning all
Am sitting here monitoring a garag sale. Lol. Star is resting and I am actually people watching. And yes, was wonderful ,eating Richard yesterday. I ditto what he said. Great food and conversation. Too bad we forgot the pics, but what the hey. We know what we look like. Lol. And can not wait to meet lynn. Hope you have more than a moment.
I am getting ready to go to a meeting soon...looking forward to seeing my prineville friends that I have grown to know and love

Thalia, thanks so much for checking in!  i'm glad you got to Prineville safely, and that you're with Star now!  yay!  i'm hoping for a couple hours, at least, Thalia!  a "moment" simply won't do.

I'm thinking to be in Denver Saturday afternoon Jan. 12 (assuming no blizzards etc to delay travel,) and will be free all day Sunday 13th except a couple hours' work that afternoon (2-ish.)  midweek lunches aren't much of an option, but evenings are a possibility, if that weekend of 12-13 won't work for you.  then conference ends Thursday 17th, likely free that evening but not certain (staff meeting sometime that day, too soon to know.)  then Friday midday, will head out to visit my friend Kelly for the weekend, but if none of the other days work out for you'n'me, there's always lunch on Friday 18, as last ditch option.  I'll be heading home first thing Monday morning, or maybe midday on Sunday depending on how things go.

Yeah Lynn. So how bout late lunch or dinner that first Saunday. I will haaveaall of the time in the world. Then perhaps we Cavan meet again before you leave.
