OMG It's TGIF and July 1st!

It's not clear to me if it is summer even though June and July could be considered summer months. The furnace came on this morning!

Yep that big furnace in the sky came on early here in Texas. I think it's called "The Sun".

It is already 80 here...heading for the 100's again.
You just keep quiet about the furnace...me AC hasn't shut off all night.

hard to believe, here it is July. time flies, faster and faster....

and most of the nation is dreadfully hot, but the Pacific Northwest is cool. hmmm, be careful what you complain about, Richard, we may all show up on your doorstep if the power goes out! tee hee!

no particular plans for the weekend, 'cept lunch with a girlfriend tomorrow, and probably just staying cool, since we're heading for a hundred, too....

Hi everyone! OK, so it's a bit warmer today. Probably 85, but I guess I can't complain. . . that sounds good compared to 100.

Just went on a little shopping spree. Beach in a couple of weeks, and I can't wait to feel sand between my toes. Had to buy myself a new beach chair, sunscreen and some other fun stuff. Not sure what's going on for the weekend, but I'm having dinner and drinks tonight with an ex-boss. Looking forward to it.

Richard, is it a little odd to have the furnace come on in JULY? Sheesh. Do you get a real summer?

I'm thinking I'm going to go buy myself one of those portable fire pits. Since I rent, I can't really dig up the yard and put in a fire pit. . . at least I don't think so. I've dug up plots for flowers. . Anyway, not sure why I need a fire pit, but being over in the Cyber Patio group makes me want one. Nothing like a fire on a cool evening. That's me. Fire and water. Does that mean something?

Well Cat, there is total blue sky and it has warmed up to nearly 70!! LOLOL The dogs and I are out on the deck having some lunch with a guy they call Al Fresco. A neighbor is out on his deck talking quietly on his phone and SMOKING!!! iiiiiiiickkkkkkk

I was out to dinner with a non-smoker. . . three hours without. I couldn't wait to get on my patio!
