It is August 1 and I just couldn't post in the July thread. 

The dog days of summer are upon us...along with the August Meet in Pittsburgh.

Stop in have a cup of coffee or a glass of iced tea. If it is later in the day help yourself to a glass of wine or bottle of beer.

RRC, You are going to need a large pot of coffee to get started tomorrow. I'll be out mowing grass again tomorrow, Tue. and Wed. Hope it is in the 80s like predicted. Actually, hope it's in the 60's but know that ain't going to happen.

Morning Cat, RRC, Richard and all others who check in today. It's off to walk the dog, eat, do pool testing and mantenance, and mow grass.

Oh and drink lots of water. Right after I have lots of coffee.

glad you had good "kid time", Robert!  but it doesn't last very long....

 

Robbie, drinking water in the heat is essential.  driving thru the high desert, on the way out here, nearly parched me before i realized what was happening!  it was both warm and high/dry; at least, going east, i've been better prepared.

 

the start of a workweek for many, hope it'll be a good one.  RRC is likely lounging around trying to recover from the derby night!

Slow morning, my day off, I really need to run lots of errands but I am putting it off as long as possible. 

I need to check in with the Doc about my shoulder, still not up to snuff, we'll see what the next step is. 

Drink lots Robbie & Lynn....water, I mean water.

Took my car to the body shop and got my rental...they say it will be a week before it is ready to go..miss my toyota already, have an impala and the brakes seem to be set up so high...hope you have a great week filled with love and laughter

Hey there...glad to see you guys stopping by. I will whine with ya Moosie..and wine too. 

I am sipping a glass right now hoping the pain pill will let me get some sleep, looks like I may have to have that MRI so we can find out what is going in my shoulder.

Hope your car is fixed soon Thally, isn't it amazing how we get used to our own vehicles.

Better make sure Kiefer is ready to get up for weight lifting tomorrow morning.
