Sarah Palin speaks about the Gulf oil spill

Sarah Palin is now speaking out about the oil spill in the....what's that.....she's not speaking out....she remains strangely silent? That's not like Sarah. Perhaps she's not feeling well...or something.

Where is the bluster now, Ms. I can't shut the hell up?

Trust me. I'm more amazed than anyone that I am defending Sarah Palin here. This forum got mentioned last night in from of my mother, who unbeknownst to me, is a Sarah Palin fan. Sarah's fans feel that she connects with their values. When they tell me that, I have to think to myself, "what speech were YOU listening to?"
Scott Brown got elected because Massachusetts didn't want the Fed's version of healthcare foisted on them. I'm thinking that the Cosmo pictures were a youthful indescretion. I think even I have one or two naked pictures of me between the ages of 20 and 25 somewhere when I was at my animal best. However, nude modeling is not a likely career path for me now.
There is a difference in our criticisms of men and women. There is a grudging respect we have for guys we call prick. Not so much with the C-word. That tends to be a bilious insult.
