Wide Stance
Naivete' term coined by U.S. Senator Larry Craig meaning a commodious position on a toilet seat so as not to have one's trousers fall to the floor, often with shoes of said person assuming the position touching the shoes of those in neighboring stalls. In reality, wide stance simply is 'trolling for homosexual sex in a public toilet.' It is a signal of interest for such activity.

Wait a minute... I thought Pullin' a Palin was to be insulting to your opponent while acting cutsie and innocent, and pretending you're being victimized yourself.
The Republicans will have excuses for their personal shortcomings of those in their party. They can say Palin is not a quitter because she is going to do something even more valuable for her state and country. Sanford is going to become even more religious through God's help and those that live in the house with him in DC. Craig probably did what he did so the stalls in the men's bathrooms would be extended way to the floor and thereby protect young men from those left wing gays. They will always claim to be the party with the most religious, well meaning, patriotic members!
Of course they can. Just wait and see!
