Transparent and true to Christ on-line
One time a person sent me a letter informing me that she could no longer attend our church because one of our worship leaders was posting things of an immoral nature on their MySpace page. Some of her family members had contacted her and pointed out what the worship team member had been posting and wanted to know if our church condoned the things this person was writing about.
I never saw what was posted so I don't know what was written. I do know who the person is because others have since commented on what they've seen as they have been invited to see the person's MySpace page.
So, here's my question. In this day of on-line relationships, have you ever struggled to stay true to Christ and present your true self in all things? Have you found yourself tempted to visit those groups/discussions/sites that you should stay clear of? And if so, what precautions have you taken to true to Christ when those temptations hit?
