...As a comment on Maricel's and Tim's deeply thoughtful, deeply meaningful, deeply baffling back-and-forth about the nature of Reality and the human ability to (or not to) comprehend it:

This was as insightful as it was amusing. It actually clarified my perception. Thank you.

Bottom line is the happiness, misery, confusion, enlightenment are direct reflections of the quality of one's thoughts. There really is no difference between the person who perceives a pain induced reality and the person who perceives synchronicity in his being. What matters is our choice of lens in making sense of a reality that cannot be defined.
This satirical video made it even more apparent to me. Science objectifies the "I"; (Spiritual) Metaphysics personalizes the "I".

The "I" shall be an I whatever the lens even if much is lost in the focusing of that lens. This is not difficult to understand. What makes it difficult is the ego or that part of us who need to validate our existence.

 

Life/ Reality is what you make it. Beyond crafting meaning to validate our existence, we're all as insignificant as grains of dust in the grand cosmic scheme of things, all created randomly, leading random lives, and that our existence, or lack of, doesn't affect anything other that promote evolution with our mutations. To intellectualize is just to create permutations of reality that makes sense only for us, but not necessarily the cosmic consciousness/ evolution of things.
