Yum ....

My grocery list these days has all kinds of unhealthy stuff on it, but when I get there I just don't buy it.  Looking at the boxes of sweet stuff seems to be enough.  I usually have cookies (since I quit baking all the time), but that's about it.  I like veggies so I buy fresh(ish) ones.   "They say" don't put unhealthy foods in your house and you can't eat them.  In what universe does that work?  But it's a start; buy one healthy thing per week that you've rarely or never bought before and force yourself to eat it before it rots.  Who knows?  You might like it enough to buy it again and again.

Yeah I eat a *lot* of that kind of salad, lol.  Also, I from time to time indulge in hydraulic sandwiches (what my stepdad used to call alcoholic beverages).

Sure wish i could have your appetite Rose ... As fare as sweet goes i try to stay away from it because of my diabetes ...

the new Protein Special K has 10 grams of protein and tastes good.

I don't like sweets at all unless it's fruit. I love veggies of all kinds...we've cut way down on meat and starches. I still love popcorn and I just can't buy potato chips of any kind or I would eat them. I do indulge in eating mixed nuts but I try to limit myself to a few now and then.

I try to eat healthy.  I shop at Whole Foods, even if I do buy junk food, it makes me feel less guilty.

Is it true that they sell breast milk at Whole Foods now?  I heard this somewhere.

yep

...  report found that breast milk bought from two popular Web sites was often contaminated with high levels of bacteria, including, in a few instances, salmonella. The amounts detected in some samples were sufficient to sicken a child.

“The study makes you worry,”

The Whole foods in my neighborhood does not sell Breast milk, but they do carry an ice cream that contains it.
