Do you still get the newspaper? If you were the editor, what kind of news would you put in there?

I haven't gotten the newspaper in years.  I don't really know what I would put in, but I do know what I would take out.  The arrest records, I think it's awful.

I would put a lot more good news than there currently is, rescued animals, stories about family that find each other etc.

Yes, I agree with good news instead of "if it bleeds, it leads" junk.  I prefer less local news and more far-ranging stories.  Funny wouldn't hurt either.  Fewer editorials from people who don't have solutions but just want to gripe.

Yep still subscribe to our little, local daily paper, have a feeling its gonna be cutting bk to one or two days a wk tho like has happened in a lot of places, espec small towns like this. If i were editor, i,d put in more science and tech news, espec a computer/tech help column. (speaking of which, seems like the comp/tech help grp here on tbd has really slowed dwn, a couple of people still post once in a while but the last few times i,ve posted a question, its been ignored, there always used to be a lot of members chiming in with answers and suggestions, i wonder if Pete,s ok?)
