Never been to a nude beach, but I have been known to jump in our pool buck neckid. (6 foot privacy fence and no 2 story houses nearby)

I suppose this hinges on the definition of "beach." I occasionally am naked in some mountain stream, lake, etc. In that case it is not a religious thing, health thing or intended affront to society but just practicality. If I am going a few dozen miles or a few thousand hiking I am not going to be carrying anything I don't need like a towel or swimsuit just for that purpose. I went into some hot springs in north central Nevada and south central Oregon while camping and hiking and that and nude seems to be the practice. Strictly for scientific purposes I took binoculars and checked and that is my professional determination.
