Assuming as WS and others take note of that there are no Zombies and Mutants about, I probably would live like Charleston Hesston in that Omega Man movie, scrounging fine liquor and food. I probably would move to a more temperate climate now that they would not be overpopulated and see the sites that are now too butthole to bellybutton with people.  If I woke up in a foreign country or obscure island I would try to find out where I was and determine the prospects of making it home if I could. If I woke up where I am now I have a wood stove and some camping and backpacking stoves and could go to one of the abandoned cities to get some propane tanks and a grill, scrounge gas, etc. Would set up a sun shower to take care of that issue much of the year. Would need some more barrels to direct rain water into, maybe  some solar panels to run some stuff. Finally peace and quiet in the world. Would find some Loreena Mckenit and Robert Earl Keene music for my solar powered cd player. I could blow out some dams and other good stuff. There is a science fiction novel or two on this and in one some travelers come to or back to Earth and fine the last person alive sitting in the middle of a street in their rocking chair. I may have given this some thought before. ;-)
