late or early

Are you consistently early or late? why?  I try to be on time, but I must admit that time constraints are such a bummer. I know we must have them, but I hate it in a way. I set my clock ahead on purpose to allow myself more time. I want to be on time, but it can get away from you so quickly.

I'm an on time or slightly early girl. During one period of my life I couldn't seem to get anywhere unless I was 5 minutes late. Glad that's over.

I used to be perennially late, but then someone suggested to me that it was an indication that I felt my time was more important than that of other people. That has really turned me around, because I certainly don't feel that way. Things just tended to get away from me. I try to be respectful of others. Of course if it is a party then I tend to arrive late, but I think that is a different matter. (But maybe not?)
