I came from a family of 8 children. I was the oldest girl, I have an older brother. There were 4 girls and 4 boys (2 of them were fraternal twins). (My brother Danny died a few years ago from copd).

my poor sister grew up with 5 of us brothers.

Me, 1 sister, one brother that disappeared over 30 years ago, and one half brother. But my parents families were huge. 13 kids on my mom's side, and 12 kids on my father's side.

Just now remembered: I have a half-brother I never knew about 'till about 10 yrs. ago. My mom had a son with a guy between Husband 1 (my dad) and Husband 2, mentioned it sorta by accident but maybe on purpose if you know what I mean; then when I tried to ask her more about it, clammed up & wouldn't say another word about it.
