Reading, I escape to the adventures in the book.

Ping Pong, Ham Radio, Photography, and chat'n with you guys.

Reading & teebeedee for me too; also online solitaire & trivia, I've found a couple good sites for that.

In bed listening to talk radio.

This will sound REALLY strange. But I go eat breakfast at a Cracker Barrel. I always sit by a window, take my book, or do some writing. I sorta feel like I'm on vacation because when my kids were little, we used to take a yearly summer trip to see family in Ohio/Pennsylvania and it was about an 11 hour trip from Tennessee. I drove straight on through except for a leisurely trip to Cracker barrel. We would eat, look around in the store, get gas, and be on our way. Its the only time we went o Cracker Barrel as there wasn't one in our area.

THIS time of year, I like to go to Barnes and Noble after dark.  I walk up and down the aisles, grab whatever sparks my interest, get my armful of books, buy a LARGE  CHai Tea Latte with whipped cream and settle in a big comfy chair and read and LEARN until closing time!!

In summer, I take a book, pick up lunch and go to the riverfront and enjoy the scenery. Well...at least I DID do that when I lived in Tennessee. You can't just GO to a lake/river in Pittsburgh. There aren't many around unless you want to make the trek DOWNTOWN. NO THANKS!!

Hey, Kim, where ya been?!  We been missing you!

fishing does it for me...and a nice cold beer

I'm with you mate!

johnie..one day you and me will go fishing ...I ll bring the beer

Deal Truckie! I'll BBQ our catch.

Solitaire

and sometimes yoga!

I am not much of a card player, my escape is MUSIC and listening to my ipod. TBD is a good escape too!
