Did you give up on your dreams? Or, are they "in progress"?

Gave mine up, now I'm just trying to get thru one day at a time.  Once you get to a certain age--which for most is by middle age--one thing you can be sure of is that every good thing to happen to or for you already has; the best you can hope for, and will be lucky if thats the case, from here on is neutral and boring. Life is really for the young but not a thing can be done about it.
