That's easy.....the catbird on my roof. He has a nest somewhere near here, and he spends every waking moment defending it. He will think nothing of dive-bombing you if he thinks you're a threat.

You better watch out for Olliver. He weighs about 15 or 16 pounds, and is known for lying around just waiting to trip someone. Believe me, he ain't moving even if he sees you coming.

I'm told there are mountain lions in the vicinity. I've never seen one in almost 25 years. There are rattlesnakes but you have to hike in the hills around here to find them.

If you are driving, deer are the worse obstacle here.  Squirrels, possum, raccoons, skunks, rabbits...mostly small woodland animals....copperheads are around....black snakes....I hate bugs and there are stink bugs, june bugs, bees wasps, hornets, mosquitos, and don't forget bats and pigeons....lol

We just had a  black bear shot and killed 7 miles from our house.  So now , I worry about going to the dog park, it is 35 acres of woods.

let's see......copperheads, cottonmouths, rattlesnakes, every now and then a coral snake.....wild hogs (sometimes as many as 30 in a group), if you have small animals, the red hawks and the owls....they feed off small furry critters

If you came to my house you would have to make sure you didn't step in a gopher hole. We have lots of bees and birds and 3 dogs.

Gee.....and I had put Australia on my Bucket List. I may have to reconsider.
