Don't I know it; I just posted in this group's comments about I just got an ad for an app that makes your lightbulbs turn purple whenever it rains; betcha they don't get too many downloads for that here in Calif, by golly.

Definitely. The nearest large lake Diamond Valley has had almost a hundred foot drop in water level. Starting April 1 they are banning private boat launching because the ramp is high and dry. This draught is about the worst I ever remember.

We have experienced the "arctic blasts" that linger pretty long. The dip in the temperatures are so severe. It is very bad. I know flipper lives on the East Coast where it has been so much more severe than here, that I feel like our problems are not hardly worth mentioning though. We had a very snowy winter and face flooding in places around here.
