"Folks"; I remember being laughed at in high school (and that was a lonnnng time ago) for using the word "folks", it was considered too "country; I used "folks" sometimes in reference to my parents and sometimes in place of the word "people"; I was informed that I should say either "parents" or "mom and dad" or "people", to stop using that old country sounding "folks." I never seem to hear anyone other than politicians using it these days.
"Ninny". I think it's been replaced by "twit"
