Baby shower decorations

This doesn't have to be women only, but I will venture a guess you've given one, had one, been to one.

I need ideas for a baby shower. These are the parameters:

He likes baseball and car racing. She likes soccer and is a very talented scrapbooker. The baby's room will be decorated in frogs. She gives little yellow plastic duckies to all little kids. It is to be a 'green' shower, so the decorations have to be reusable.

Actually - it is FOR WOMEN ONLY but if there are some chaps out there that have a great contribution to make to this discussion, than by my invitation, please join, share, and then - kindly "unjoin" yourself. I have no problem with a "guest speaker of the male persuasion" from time to time.

Sea Rain - I know zip de nada about baby showers. Just show up with something lovely is my refrain. So enlighten us please.

Is this a joint baby shower - whereby both men and women will be attending?

I'm the queen of gift cards--but as for decorations? Perhaps alternating "him" and "her" images? I would look about for small (baby-safe) toys to use as decoration. Past that...I'm really going to have to go to the expert here: my sister. Back to you on this one!

No men. Just women. 81 of them. Bringing a gift, sitting down to eat, watching her open gifts, getting a prize by some mysterious formula, eating cake and leaving early

Seriously, this girl is ANAL, and she needs a perfect shower. And since she is my daughter and I am in charge of decorations, then I will give her a shower that she will be pleased with and remember
