A few come to mind:
1 Hellzapoppin
2 The Ipcress File
2 The Italian Job ( the original, not the awful remake)
Muchly thanking you (Long Live Professor Stanley Unwin!)
in italian anyone?
One of the very best things on this site is that everyone is so kind and helpful, if only the rest of the world were so inclined - how wonderful things would be.
i'd check netflix to see if they have the original italian job
I don`t use Netflix at the moment - but I will try my other sites (letmewatchthis and Project Free TV), they both have a good selection of movies to watch and they`re free. Thanks though for the suggestion.
or try your local library...
I can still see the bus teetering on the edge of the mountain road as the film ends an all-time great movie (I think - others might disagree. I love Micheal Caine and pairing him with Noel Cowerd was simply inspired. So many great moments it`s hard to forget this film. You see it once and like "fine caviar" it lingers in the memory.
i requested 'the italian job' with michael caine from my library on the internet on the 27th...and picked it up yesterday...so as i said...check with your local libraries...they can also do what's called an interlibrary loan (an ILL) from another library if they don't have it.
Maybe someone can help me with this one. It has been bugging me for a while. It's one of those movies that I remember only bits and pieces. Not even sure who the actress is. It was made in the 50's or 60's. Black and white. Happens in Italy. I think it starred Sophia Loren, but not 100% sure. I also think Marcelo Mastroiani (sic) was in it. I remember the actress was very sensual, but not an R-rated movie. The only scene that comes to mind is one where the male actor tries to seduce Sophia, (Or ??) She slashes him across the cheek with a knife.
Did I dream this up, or is it a real movie. Please help!!
Lucky To Be A Woman is the one where he plays her photographer boyfriend and Charles Boyer is in it too.
If it's a comedy and Vittorio de Sica's in it, it's called Too Bad She's Bad.
Those are the only 2 I know.
