So what is your absolute favorite classic line from a movie - it could be anything from "Play it, Sam!" (Casablanca) to "Lock and Load!" (Alien) to "We may not enjoy living together, but dying together isn't going to solve anything." (Night of the Living Dead)

"If you don't have good dreams, Bagel, you got nightmares. " (Diner)
Nice...how about, "Fasten your seatbelts, its going to be a bumpy night." also Bette Davis.
KC - I use that one all the time! I love All About Eve!
Mary, that is one of my favorites although I have never seen "Beyond the Forest" and know it from Martha (played by Liz Taylor in the film) from "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf"
WS, you made me think of some funny ones:

"Load and Lock!" from Tropic Thunder, too funny.
"Dyin ain't much of a livin, boy" from The Outlaw Jose Wales.

One I still keep in my back pocket: "You do what you gotta do, I'll do what I gotta do, and what happens happens" Runaway Train.
I htink there were a few good ones in Tropic Thunder!
From Charade...
Reggie Lampert (Audrey Hepburn): I already know an awful lot of people and until one of them dies I couldn't possibly meet anyone else.
Peter Joshua (Cary Grant): Well, if anyone goes on the critical list, let me know.
For some reason I always liked this interchange between Groucho and Chico in Cocoanuts:

Hammer: (thinks) You know what a lot is?

Chico: Yeah, itsa too much.

Hammer: I don't mean a whole lot, just a little lot with nothing on it.
Yup that is a classic, Steve!
And if you are going to do quotes by Nicholson characters then there is always: "The truth? You cant handle the truth." Voted the most popular movie quote ever according to http://www.thaindian.com/newsportal/entertainment/nicholsons-the-tr...

I like the dialogue in Five Easy Pieces where he orders toast:

Nicholson: I'd like a plain omelette, tomatoes instead of potatoes, a cup of coffee and wheat toast.

Waitress ( pointing to the menu ): No substitutions.

Nicholson: What's the matter, don't you have any tomatoes?

Waitess: Only what's on the menu. You can have a #2 omelette, it comes with fries and rolls.

Nicholson: I know what it comes with, but it's not what I want.

Waitress: Well I'll come back when you make up your mind.

Nicholson: Wait a minute, I have made up my mind. I want a plain omelette, no potatoes on the plate. A cup of coffee and a side order of wheat toast.

Waitress: I'm sorry, we don't have any side orders of toast, you can have an English muffin or a coffee roll.

Nicholson: What do you mean you don't make side orders of toast, you make sandwiches don't you?

Waitress: Do you want to talk to the manager?

Nicholson: You've got bread. And a toaster of some kind?

Waitress: I don't make the rules.

Nicholson: OK, I'll make this as easy for you as I can. I'd like an omelette, plain, and a chicken salad sandwich on wheat toast, no mayonnaise, no butter, no lettuce, and a cup of coffee.

Waitress ( very snooty at this point ): A #2 chicken salad sand. Hold the butter, the lettuce and the mayonnaise. And a cup of coffee. Anything else?

Nicholson: Yeah, now all you have to do is hold the chicken, bring me the toast, give me a check for the chicken salad sandwich, and you haven't broken any rules.

Waitress: You want me to hold the chicken, huh?

Nicholson: I want you to hold it between your knees.
How about, "Can I move?" "I'm better when I move" Robert Redford's character when interviewing for the payroll guard position to see how good he could shoot.
In "Goldfinger", Goldfinger has James Bond strapped to a table and a laser beam is slowly approaching him.
Bond: Do you expect me to talk?

Goldfinger: No Mr. Bond, I expect you to die.
