Something people look stupid doing?

What is something that everyone looks stupid doing?

Two things come to mind....chewing gum and being drunk.

I agree with Syble about being drunk. I can't stand to be around drunks. Also someone trying to act tough like they can fight anyone and win. Most of the time they can't fight their way out of a paper bag.

Waiting in line for hours to purchase a "new" product.

Personally, this is an incident all about myself.  It was 17 degrees in MD and I had to go wait for a bus.  I had on long johns at least two sizes too small two pairs of pants, sweat shirt winter coat hood up hat under hood and a scarf around all of that.  I seemed stupid to me because I drove for so many years and never got that bundled up.  Now I still don't drive but Pete does and I don't dress anywhere that much no matter how cold.

The getting drunk is another one I agree with all of you.  Have to admit I did it a few times when I was in my 20's.

Yelling and screaming in anger I can't stand either. I lived with it for 15 long months living with one of my sons and his girlfriend. Even her mother said she couldn't understand "all the cussing and fussing" by her daughter

There was one exception to the rule of not tolerating yelling.  A good friend of mine used to holler and carry on, usually over her son driving her crazy while we'd be out on the parking lot talking.  It must have seemsed to folks who didn't know us that she was yelling at me, but she was just venting.  She passed away this year and her daughter who I knew pretty well asked hoe I put up with her and I said after awhile I didn't hear it anymore, plus otherwise we had loads of fun together.
