Where is the nicest place you've ever been in the fall?

I've spent time in all 50 states, but I'm particular to the Black Hills of South Dakota where I've lived for the past 27 years.  Other than that, Western Montana, Skyline Drive in Virgina, the hills of Vermont and the Great Smokies in North Carolina are some beautiful places to visit.  But, every state has some beauty to enjoy...outside of the big cities, that is.

The San Juan mountains in CO...aspen color is fabulous. Can't complain about NW Montana, either, where I call home.

Actually, the fall is beautiful right where I live!
