I Spoke With Hieagle Last Night

He was glad to hear from me and I was glad I got him. If he didn't answer the phone, I would have been worried because I know he is not in the best of health. It seems he's finally going to get the help he needs because he's been approved for assisted living. His legs are swollen and his eyesight is failing so he doesn't do social networking anymore. He's being checked by nurses, one of whom was not so nice.

Thank you, OED. I have been wondering and worrying about him. I hope he will be well cared for. He seems so alone, and that saddens me. It's hard enough to grow old and infirm, but doing it alone is even tougher. I will keep him in my prayers.

Thanks for the update and good to hear that he will be getting into an assisted living situation were he'll be cared for in a hopefully caring way. His current domicile seems to be a real pit

I am so glad you got him. Always think of him. So wonderful he was approved for assisted living. He should get to live out his life without all the problems not being addressed. OED, thank you. I was just saying to Syble yesterday I was wondering what was going on with him. Nice man.

You are welcome my friends. I decided to try keep in better contact with him because like said he's alone and certainly needs to know that people care about him. I will give him all your well wishes and love next time I speak with him. I'm going to try for a weekly call.

He said he reported the nurse who was unpleasant...I think in some type of survey. She had the nerve to tell him that people didn't like her. He certainly understood why. He had another nurse that was nice so hopefully she'll always be assigned or a nurse like her.
