It's very pretty, but the good news is it does this a very few times each year. The weather is beautiful here, with snow at a minimum. Last year I only wore a winter coat 3 or 4 times. This year is a La Nina, which means it will be mild. Hoping to be looking for plants in Feb or March at the latest. I'm from NY orginally and spent nearly 30 years in Md and I'm used to freezing all winter. Only drawback to where I live is my kids and grandkids are in MD and that's to a bad back I haven't seen half of them in 18 months and counting.

We had a dusting of snow a few weeks ago. Just finishing up our storm now- not sure of the total- but at 6 PM last night they said we had 5 1/2 inches here- but snowed till past 11PM.

We had 6" the week before Halloween, and a little since. Nothing in the forecast right now...not shedding any tears. It's cold, but not that cold. Suits me.

No snow here even though at nite it has been near/at freezing. Tomorrow it's be 67 - definitely not then!

We supposedly got four inches yesterday but it seemed more like one to me. It will soon be gone.
