Do you ever so something dumb and wonder how you did it?

I did this morning.  I was trimming one of the plants we just brought in for the winter and was only bent over a little and I clipped a couple of branches and my finger.  I've been doing this for years and this is a first.  it was a good nip and blood all over. After it was bandaged up and the bleeding stopped I just laughed because it so dumb.  Tell us about any of you escapades like this.

I stapled a cardboard sign to my index finger with a staple gun.  Yep...that hurt.

As my mother used to say Syble...Wouch!!

Oh wow, you poor gals, those are power-ouches for sure. (And I do so much dumb stuff, I don't know where to begin, lol.)

I think it's great to share these things. Nice to know we're not alone.  The other day Pete went to Walmart and I asked him to get me cornflakes and he forgot so yesterday he went to Dollar General and got frosted flakes, which I like, but I have a bad habit of snacking too much on them.  This morning he's looking for bread and says you have a whole new box of cornflakes here.  My cornflakes were on the right cabinet and bread in left and cornflakes were hiding in plain sight pushed more toward the bread side.  In my defense the cabinet is a little high.  Yeah sure, that's the problem.

LOL Helen.  It is nice to know we are not alone in these things. My mother always somehow felt better knowing that she wasn't the only one suffering with arthritis symptoms.

Not a do but a say and not me lately but my hubby and I were lamenting how our daughter was without power for another chilly night and he came out with "A great time for an electric blanket." I gave him the huh? look and we both burst out laughing.

Oh yeah. Too many times to count. I did something fairly recently but can't remember what it was right now. Helen I sure hope you heal well and the pain goes away!
