Welcome Sono! We've missed you!!! Glad you found the group.
mcladybug found us! A big welcome to her!
Too funny, never thought of that, I guess that is another advantage of the NOOK, when you get a library book you don't have to worry about what the person before you did to it.
rapa, last month a library book I was reading had lots of brown smears on about a dozen pages... my first thought was chocolate but then my mind started to think about other possibilities...ewww... I thought about sniffing but no... decided to just take a damp paper towel and clean off the pages as best I could... and wash up thoroughly when I was done... LOL
You guyz...cracking me up!!! LOL
Carci, I never sniff closer than a foot away from a book! "Sniff" to me includes rolling the eyes! :)
What kind of germs are you sniffing off that page... YIKES!
I sniff library books mainly to see if a heavy smoker has left the pages polluted. As a former smoker, I don't enjoy the stale smoke laden pages.
Also "sniff" at pages that have words whited out by previous borrowers.
I guess I'm not... I've never sniffed a book... of course most my books are from the library and I think sniffing them would not be wise... ;)
