From one of my favorite comic strips, Arlo N' Janis, both in bed, he reading a regular book and she an e-book.
Arlo says "A real book lover prizes the smell of a new book....And the feel and sound of the fresh pages....All you have are words"

We're off to a good start and I was delighted to discover I knew 2 of the other 3 members. We had a lively discussion; our next novella is Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach. Looks like we will be enjoying a variety of books.
Ursula,
With your experience with Mission history am sure you'll be a welcome contributor to the F2F group. You're a braver soul than I!!!! Enjoy it!!!
Wish me luck; I'm on my way to the first meeting of a new face-to-face book group. The man who started the group and invited me to join is a published author himself; his books deal with local history. It's a different approach as we are going to read novellas, starting today with Henry James' The Aspern Papers.
Welcome to our new member, Laura! Hope you're able to curl up with a good book and staying warm during this big freeze!
I never remember to do this, but tomorrow is November 1. Don't forget to Rabbit!!!
