Carci,
Here's a book I know you'll enjoy!
A Borrowing of Bones by Paula Munier.
This is a beautifully crafted mystery, especially if you like dogs. It's quite a page turner!
Carci, so sorry you are not enjoying The Clockmaker's Daughter as I did enjoy reading it as with all of Kate Morton's books. I do agree that there were lots of characters and sometimes I did have to stop and figure out just what was happening.
However, Kingdom of the Blind is an amazing story and will hold you to the very end. Enjoy and Happy New Year!!
Having a hard time finding a really good book. I'm almost halfway through The Clockmaker's Daughter by Kate Morton and I don't think I'll bother finishing it. Seems very confusing with lots of characters jumping back and forth through the centuries without much explanation. Has anyone here read it and liked it?
I have Just After Midnight by Catherine Ryan Hyde and The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid on my TBR pile so will try one of those instead.
Kingdom of the Blind is waiting for me at the library. :)
Am currently on a Nicholas Sparks marathon! Few can tell a
soul-mate story as well as he does. Each book has a different plot and some mystery tossed in.
Also am next on the reserve list for Louise Penny's book.
Saw today that on Dec. 16th Louise Penny's new Gamache novel, KINGDOM of the BLIND will debut as #1 on the NYT book list. Cheers to Louise!
Was thrilled to see that the GOODREADS best historical fiction book for 2018 was
THE GREAT ALONE by Kristin Hannah! I voted for it!
My sentiments exactly!!
RABBIT RABBIT. How
