TBD on Ning

My DIL gave me a book and I know I am going to love it.  "An Apple A Day" By Vanessa R. Reynolds M.D.  I have known Dr. Vanessa for many years now and she is an amazing woman.  She is medical doctor, a mother of 4 (maybe 5) and two are adopted and she is a Reverend and speaks often to our bible study group at church.

I have only looked at one of the devotions but it was good and I'm looking forward to the rest of the book. An Apple a Day

An Apple a Day  I added a link above but it didn't work I hope this one works.  Also you can hear 6 of her sermons on this page:  https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/girlfriends-bible-study-rock/id...  She is very practical.  And she is a very sweet person.

We did no gift exchanges this year except to the grands and great-grands. I did send two friends copies of LEAVING TIME as it captured me with the elephant culture and thoughts on the spirit world. One either loves this book or hates it; there seems to be no in between.
Hope everyone is catching their breath and ready to greet 2015. As Carolyn is hosting a New Year's Day open house, how 'bout we all drop in!

Wow, that's a big book. I am sure it has a lot of good advice about cooking in it though.

RAPA...YES! Everyone is invited to the Open House! LOL

Got 3 books for Christmas...  I love all 3...   :)

Really Important Stuff My Dog Has Taught Me

I got $100 in B&N gift cards, so many books on the way.

I received one titled, The Quantum Moment: How Planck, Bohr, Einstein, and Heisenberg Taught us to Love Uncertainty. I am fascinated by books on physics, as long as they are not physics textbooks. Helps me understand how the physical world ticks.

I like physics too, the little bit I know of it.  My husband tries to help me understand and when He does I always think "This is just common sense."  We all probably understand a bit more than we know because it is around us working all the time.
