Great collection of articles! Thanks for posting, lip service! I especially got a kick out of the "Home for the Holidays" bit. As we are now the parents of grown children with grandchildren of their own, I've passed the torch! Hallejulah!!!! How sweet it is!!! Our daughter in Virginia has over 20 neighbors coming for Thanksgiving dinner which is becoming an annual event. We passed this year due to distance and will give thanks for a stress-free, relaxing day at home with football and a breast of turkey.

This Thanksgiving essay was in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram yesterday. It's beautifully written and quite poignant for those in my/our generation.

It is a poignant story very fitting for Thanksgiving about being a caregiver to someone reduced to a shell of the person he was.
Yet, an unexpected and deep moment occurs in a flash.
