Because I shared with the group the news of my great granddaughter's book shower and birth, I'd like to share with you six week old Scarlett telling her maternal grandmother her first story:

Scarlett Tells A Story

"Grandma, would you please let me tell a story?"

"Abuelita, ¿me dejas contarte una historia?"

"You will? Awesome!!"

"¿Si? ¡Super!"

"I caught a fish the other day, and it was THIS BIG!! The end."

"Cogí un pescado, el otro día, y era así de GRANDE! Es todo. "

She is so gorgeous!!  Scarlett can tell me a story any time!!

Nothing in the world can top this.

What a beautiful and happy baby...  lucky grandma...  lucky great-grandma...  May she have a long and happy life and continue telling stories for many years to come.
