"RABBIT, RABBIT, RABBIT"........it's November! How time flies!


Are you finding time to indulge in a good read? I am sooo enthralled with Jodi Picoult's LEAVING TIME. Am finding myself mulling over the story when away from it. Just like an elephant, I won't forget this one!

Finished GRAY MOUNTAIN last week and found it rather predictable with a soft ending.
Am now sitting on a Utah mountain sans book. Heading back to Texas tomorrow.

Well, I'll be around tomorrow for Rabit...um, which I do not know what that means, actually? Some sort of good luck charm? I'll have to ask Barb or Slopok for a complete understanding.

I'm on the last 2 discs of Ken Follet's 29 disc discussion of the 60's, 70's and 80's trip into the past. EDGE OF ETERNITY. um, well, ER, uh...parts I liked, parts made me mad (like now towards the conclusion) so not sure it was worth 10 nights before sleep that I can't get back. But, whatever. Lots of time to cover and Politcally not so warm and fuzzy?

I have the latest Jack Reacher to start probably Tuesday. PERSONAL

Also ALL THE LIGHT WE CANNOT SEE (close to exact title) and another sappy Book that has been raved about.

I tried to read in large print a huge book about an adventure via ship into the North Pole back in late 1800's. Got thru 50 pages and decided a reader would need a Captains License to appreciate all the dynamics. Above my pay grade for sure.

Have a couple other Mysteries on the side table. All will be revealed tomorrow.

Hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Just the usual suspects at our home...lots of sharing about the "old days" and simpler times of Holiday action.

Carolyn   I just finished   One Doorway from Heaven -  thanks for the recommendation.  Loved it and not usually my kind of book.  Now reading Neverhome -audio did not work =so I bought from Amazon.  It appeals to me for my bedtime reading.  Friend just gave me another bag of books - have not had time to check the contents yet.  Keep up the good work. LOL  Love your comments.
