A rather unusual and unique list of books!! Of course, I checked the CA entry and discovered a book I have never heard of by a likewise unknown author. Fortunately the library has a copy, so another book added to my TBR list. I do wonder how some of the states would react to the choices. Stephen King's Carrie was chosen to represent Maine and Truman Capote's In Cols Blood represents Kansas. Not sure that's the image they would like.
