Am reading LIFE AFTER LIFE by Kate Atkinson. Fascinating read and it's all about "Ursula!"
J. Courtney Sullivan, author of Maine, describes this book as "A masterpiece about how even the smallest choices can sometimes change the course of history. It's wise, bittersweet, funny, and unlike anything else you've ever read."

Finished this most fascinating book last night. The major part of the book is circa WWII. London during the bombing had me in shivers. This is a great "What if.....?" book. If you read it, you'll know what I mean!
Now, on to Maya's Notebook by Isabel Allende.
I read the book and enjoyed it...I looked back over my own life and realized how small things had significant impact later...Sorta like a chess game. Some things are a given, like education or marriage, but some small, seemingly insignificant, episodes had huge consequences later...A good and thought provoking read.
