I have been using Project Gutenberg for years.  For most classic books, Amazon has them for free or maybe 99cent.  Thanks for the list;I bookmarked it.

Thanks for posting the list, Carci. Have shared it with my bookie granddaughter who is due her second child next month. The free children's books will be great to entertain little Scarlett after her brother arrives.
