A bit too esoteric for me. I guess I just use the old standard on Sci-Fi, I read it if it's popular, as I consider myself to be an eclectic reader. I am in the midst of the "Game of Thrones" and wondering if Martin will finish the books before the TV series is over. I have been trying to read the story as the TV programs become available for viewing. I also read "The Martian" which I really enjoyed. I understand the story is nearly ready to be released as a movie starring Matt Damon.

Years ago (and I mean many years) I read a lot of Sci-Fi, all the big names of the day: Asimov, Clarke, Heinlein and others But somehow I lost interest and don't know why. As I look back, the loss of interest seems to coincide with the period in my life when I began to get interested in theoretical physics. And anyone out there who has delved into some of the issues addressed by theoretical physics, will see things at least as weird as those written about in Sci-Fi.
