Did I ever flunk this one!!! Only got about 4 right. 40 lashes accepted!

Daughter and hubby from VA arrived Sat. He had a business trip to Austin so they stopped here for a night and got iced in. Our temp dropped 70 degrees from 81 on Sat. to below freezing. Thousands of flights cancelled, schools cancelled, etc. Icy roads! They finally caught a flight this evening to Chicago and are scheduled for an early flight tomorrow on to Washington, Dulles. Enjoyed some quality time with our daughter. She took along my (Mudqueen's) THE DEVIL IN THE WHITE CITY to entertain herself.

Well, I didn't do well at all. My score was 51 and the average score is 56. I've always considered myself above average, but not today. :-(

Rapa, so glad the bad weather worked in your behalf and gave you extra time with your daughter. We had a lot of rain Friday and I got soaked to the skin despite my raincoat. This happened at 10:30 AM and I still had other commitments for the day. I am amazed that I didn't get sick after spending the day in damp clothes!! Our temp is supposed t be back at 80 by Wednesday. I think my sisters in PA & NJ are beginning to hate me!!
