Randy Singer's talent flowed out onto every page of this book. A small-time lawyer ends up with the most controversial case of his career. This case draws him and his team into a tangled web of intrigue and deception. American missionaries are attacked by the religious police, the Muttawa, in Saudi Arabia and after losing her husband a woman brings her case to Brad Carson, who decides to take the case after hearing her plight. The leader of the Muttawa will stoop to any level to win the case. He intimidates witnesses, bribes jurors, and even uses members of Carson's team to his own means.

This well-written drama is a very good book that I recommend to anyone who loves courtroom drama. I know I had said that I was disappointed with it earlier in the week, but after reading the second half of the book I have changed my own verdict on this book. Directed Verdict starts off with a little bit of action that sets up the storyline to follow. It then has what I found to be a long section of lull, only to finish off with an intense ending that kept me guessing right up to the end. The characters in this book are well-developed and strong. Singer developed the characters skilfully and did what I love in the end, he tossed in a few unexpected twists and turns, going in directions you won't foresee. His plot is well-thought-out and, although a little bit slow in parts, it compels you to keep reading, anxious to find out how it comes to the ending you know is coming.

Great work Singer! I look forward to reading more of your work.  Tony Peters

I also started out being disappointed in the beginning, but also began to be compelled to finish the book to find out how it ends.  I will be looking for a third book of his to read.

I read the book a couple of years back.  It was an Amazon special price deal.  Good action, as I remember.  It is a Christian genre book, which I enjoy reading, as what story doesn't need a moral.  Unfortunately, It looks like Amazon has increased the price.  http://www.amazon.com/Directed-Verdict-ebook/dp/B00546FN7A
