Is anyone a part of BookBub? Can you tell me is it good, do they have a lot of ads or send out a lot of email?  Generally what has been your experience with them?

I have been subscribed to Book Bub for several years and all-in-all it has been a very positive experience.  They have wonderful deals, lower prices and even free books, and they provide links to both Amazon and Barnes and Noble for your purchase.

Thank you Ursula.

The only drawback I have had is, it is so easy to buy books when they are 1 or 2 dollars. I always think, "That looks good, I might read that some day." And I have accumulated a lot of ebooks that way. However, sometimes something I have been wanting to get anyway comes up on sale, and then it is definitely a bonus. Early Bird books has a free book every day, but they are usually books in the public domain that sell for $1 anyway.

I decided t join and I like it already.  Thank you Ursula.

Like Ursula, I've subscribed to Book Bub for years. As I never buy books except as gifts, I've only downloaded an occasional free book. I prefer reading paper books rather than on-line and have been a constant library patron since childhood. I do check Book Bub daily for freebies!

I also like BookBub for suggestions of books to check out at the library.  The short reviews they give have turned me on to several books I might otherwise have missed. Call me old school, I still prefer paper books!

I use Book Bub quite a lot, especially for the "free" ebooks.  Sometimes I will pay 99 cents or 1.99 for something I'm really interested in.  They don't bother you with stuff, you just get an email every day (I think you can sign up for once a week) when you register.  It's good

I've gotten BookBub emails for many years (Pixel of Ink is also a good one).  They offer books every day for your kindle or ipad Kindle app...   I stopped looking months ago as I have accumulated over 500 free books over the years...  LOL... I never buy them just check out the freebies...

I also still prefer paper books but it's nice to have the ebooks to fall back on...
