Advanced Uncorrected Proofs
I was searching my Retirement Complex Library yesterday for some titles that I might like to read. In the recent publications' section I came across a Brad Thor bestseller from last October, "Hidden Order." I have read some of the Thor books in the past and picked up the book. I noticed it was over-sized, had a simple cover, widely-spaced printing and no price. There was just a note stating that the book was to be released on 7/9/13. Also in small print on the front cover was the notice, "ADVANCED UNCORRECTED PROOFS -- NOT FOR SALE OR QUOTATION."
Now I have purchased such books in the past at used book stores or flea markets. I enjoy reading them and trying to find the typos. But I now find that such books may be valuable. Here is what I found on Google: http://www.abebooks.com/books/RareBooks/galley-advance-early-publis...
