I asked this in another group, and I'm curious about everyone's answers here. Would you like it if we lived in a world of complete nudity...everyone ran around naked constantly? It would take away from the element of mystery. I think I would miss that, but then again, if we grew up in a society of being nude, I would not know of a "mystery".
And our bodies? Would we take better care of them? I know with some, there is a medical condition and that is why we are a BBW. But, for those of us, like me...I think if I lived in a society of complete nudity, I would take better care of myself, as much as I could.

I worked in a hospital for fifteen years. (I am a nurse too) I've seen enough nakedness. And if you have ever been to a nudist camp ....... those folks are fat or skinny or scarred, tattooed. I think you would see things as they are today.

I think that, for hygiene purposes I prefer clothed people touching my food stuffs and don't want to see more than sweat on the floor.

Being a large(r) person is not always about not caring for yourself. And how would you keep warm. Clothes hide the body or enhance it but also fabric is good for catching secretions, odors and emanations.
i am to damned old to worry about what i look like and have always thought that folks can wonder around in any condition they wish. nude, naked, nekked, in the buff, or whatever they wish. i do wonder the house and back yard in my birthday suit. i have been to a nudist beach, and i plan to go again. i dont oogle the women, i dont care about the men. but i do care about myself. people are just folks and this includes all of the odd things about each of us. it is a problem for a lot of people who are normal looking.

to me, and only me, i find it liberating! after the beach, my live and let live attitude is set back to the center of gravity. i hope that makes sense, as what i am attempting to get accross. before anyone says something 'bad' or how disgusting we are, try out the scene and then, you are allowed to comment properly. this probably sounds harsh, but i mean it respectfully

Like an earlier poster eluded to, clothes have their purpose. Protection against climate conditions and other harmful things. If everywhere you lived was a balmy, warm weather climate reasonably free of sharp objects lying around I'd say more power to it. I don't think it would work if we had the same societal attitudes we have now. If society embraced it, I don't see a problem. I don't think anyone would necessarily take better care of themselves because folks would be used to seeing all kinds of bodies.
Jan...Girl! don't u know that everybody is already naked 24 hours a day?? All u gotta do is look underneath their clothes and u will see that everyone is naked!
Ahhhh....ok...thats wht I'm doing wrong...thanks, Hun, for letting me know....hahahahaha
