Generally used when talking about people who know the inner workings of a computer.

Hackers would be considered IT geeks...

I'm really glad to see so many good folks come back, but unfortunately the tide brought in a carcass or two, as well. I stated early in Robbie's "MA shutting down" thread that I would just ignore a a few old friends if they came back, and now I'm gonna revise that statement to also include ignoring a few that I wasn't friends with before MA. If enough people do the same, the outgoing tide might pull those carcasses back out to sea.
